December 9, 2011 - December 10, 2011 The 4th Latin-America Symposium "Monitoring and Securing Biodiversity", organized by the AmiBio partner ZFMK, will be held on December 9-10 2011 in Bonn, Germany. The AmiBio consortium will be representented by Dr. Olaf Jahn and Prof.Dr. Karl-L. Schuchmann (ZFMK), Dr. Todor Ganchev (UOP), Ms. Vassiliki Dimitriou, Ms. Evangelia Antoniou, Mr. Florent Celhay, Mr. Dimitris Kyrgiopoulos (SPAY).
During the symposium, a talk about the recent technology developments in AmiBio project will be presented by Todor Ganchev. Furthermore, Ms. Vassiliki Dimitriou will present a poster entitled, "Hymetthus and beyond - automated bioacoustic monitoring of wildlife". Scientific work will be reported by Dr. Jahn and Prof. Schuchmann.
